Hints & Tips for Uploading Digital Files
Zip Files Uploading files is easy with our web interface. After filling out a Job Request Ticket, you are directed to the upload area where you can send your files to us directly over the Internet.
Digital graphics files can often be quite large. Because of this, we request that you use a WinZip (for PCs) or Stuff-It (for Macs) compatible file compression software program to compress and consolidate your files into one small .zip or .sea file for uploading.
This type of utility will create a single compressed archive file that can be much smaller than the original files when uncompressed.
Monitoring Upload Progress It is important to monitor your upload progress. When uploading through your web browser, only click "Upload File(s)!" once. Large files will take a long time to upload and your browser may display a message similar to "contacting host" or "waiting for reply" during the entire upload. This is normal. For this reason, we suggest you use your systems communications monitor to verify that communication is taking place. This is often a blinking icon on your computer monitor. Refer to your modem software documentation for details.
